Soundwave Healing uses instruments & techniques to create specific frequencies to influence the bodies natural vibrations by stimulating the Somatic Nervous System. This prompts a feeling of rest and relaxation
Why do it on water?
Vibrations travel faster in water than air as water has a higher density which allows sound to transmit more efficiently. Studies previously showed sound travelled over 4 times faster yet more recent research shows it may actually be much more. That combined with the natural flow of the water prompts a state of relaxation
What do I wear/bring?
Loose and comfortable layers, pyjamas, leisurewear, leggings; it is not necessary to wear a costume as you will not be entering the pool however, you may have some light splashes on clothing. Please bring water to stay hydrated afterwards, socks to keep feet warm and you may want a small pillow under your knees. We provide an eye mask and blankets
