Retreat to the Sea – Manorbier,
May 30 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
£32.50

In an unique experience that leads you through the country paths and woodland ways that surround the magical coast of Manorbier, enjoy a morning of deepening connection with nature through elements to include foraging, plant spirit intelligence, mindfulness, meditation, and learning how to make your own natural remedies.
Manorbier is host to a whole wealth of beautiful trees and plants, now currently blossoming, flowering and flourishing as we stand on the cusp of summer. There will be much to see and learn as we make our way along hidden paths and trails, taking in the magnificent scenery, including the Medieval Church and Castle that overlook the sea beyond.
The first part of our morning will be spent learning about the medicinal benefits of what is growing at this time of year, including folklore, magical uses, and ways of working with nature that can benefit our well-being, as we connect not only through learning, but through immersive experience.
We will also work with opening up our senses to the world around us, tuning ourselves to the frequency of nature, and finding ways in which we can become more receptive to the messages that come from nature herself, ultimately leading us into deeper communication with the natural world.
Our journey will then lead us down to soft sands and crystal clear waters, as we enjoy lunch on the beach nestled between two headlands.
Continuing our time on the beach, we’ll then be looking at what we’ve learnt throughout the morning, and how we can utilise this to create new perspectives, manifest more abundance, and bring new fresh energy into our lives.
The final section of the morning will take a look at how we can make our own natural remedies with what we’ve discovered in the morning’s walk. There will be samples for you to experience to help in your learning journey.
Some extra information for the day
We will meet at the entrance to the car park which is located near to the beach at 9.50, to begin the session for 10.00. The car park is at the bottom of the hill as you pass the castle on your right.
The length of the walk is approximately 1 mile and is taken at a gentle pace. There will be some uneven terrain, so please wear shoes/boots that will be suitable for walking.
In the first part of the morning, we will be passing back through the car park where there are toilets. These are accessible from the beach as well.
While there is a little shop in Manorbier, you might wish to bring your own packed lunch, and any drinks/refreshments for the morning itself.
I will be providing paper and pens for you to make notes throughout the session. For further information, please email Maxine at max.allinson@live.co.uk
Please note: In attending the session, you take responsibility for your own safety. The information provided within the sessions regarding trees/plants and their medicinal and health benefits is provided for educational purposes, and it is always advised that you take medical advice from a healthcare practitioner for any illness/condition you may be suffering with.
