DESCRIPTION:Take a journey into your imagination with sound.\nSound has the power to slow down our brainwaves and allow us to access our subconscious mind. In this theta state of consciousness\, we can travel to a dream-like state where we may find answers to challenges in our lives\, we can change our subconscious beliefs or go on a shamanic type journey to other worlds to receive guidance. \nWe start with a guided meditation to enhance your experience. You may be guided to a beach\, a forest\, a crystal cave or even go on a magic carpet ride. Travel into the depths of your imagination. \nThis is a chance to experience deep feelings of relaxation enabling your body to be lulled into a deep meditative state. The instruments will include Tibetan and Crystal Singing Bowls\, Gongs\, Koshi Chimes\, Percussion\, Shamanic Drum and Healing Voice. It will simply involve sitting or lying down (depending on your physical abilities and level of comfort) and receiving the sound and vibrations from various beautiful instruments. The sounds will be gentle and relaxing allowing your body the chance to really let go. This enables the body’s natural healing capacities to be activated. \nPlease bring your own mats\, pillows and blankets. There are a few mats in the centre for anyone coming by public transport. If you are unable to lie on the floor\, please let me know and I can supply a chair. \nNot suitable for anyone with Sound Induced Epilepsy\, first trimester of pregnancy\, unmanaged Bipolar disorder or psychosis. A sound journey should not be undertaken under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. \nIf you have any health conditions please let me know in advance so that I can adapt my playing to suit your needs. \nThere is free on-street parking in the area but please arrive in plenty time to find a parking space. The Scotmid car park is only for customers for 1 hour max (there are cameras!) \nEach event has 2 concession places for anyone who is struggling financially. Please email direct to book these.
