My journey into mindfulness began during my doctoral studies in Counselling Psychology at the University of Wales. What started as a personal practice soon became a transformative tool — one that helped me navigate difficult thoughts and emotions and circumstances. Today I teach within the NHS and across a variety of settings. I also work as a freelance writer specialising in topics close to my heart: wellbeing\, mindfulness\, and psychology. \nActive Mindfulness was born out of a passion to help make evidenced based psychology available to all.
