What is Forest Bathing?
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin-Yoku, involves immersing yourself among the atmosphere of the trees, and being mindful, present & fully engaged with your surroundings. While it is not a traditional form of therapy, Forest Bathing can be very therapeutic, and can help with overall health & wellbeing. The different activities throughout the session help to deepen awareness and encourage a meaningful connection to the natural world. This can help with both physical and mental wellness – Forest Bathing can help to reduce blood pressure, heart rate, cortisol and tension, which leads to a more calm physical state.
Please note: no literal bathing will take place!
