Mabon Moot – Basildon

As the Wheel of the Year turns once more, we welcome Mabon, the Autumn Equinox a sacred time when day and night stand in perfect balance. It is a season of gratitude, reflection, and giving thanks for the abundance we have gathered, while gently preparing ourselves for the quieter, darker months ahead.
Join us for a warm and welcoming evening as we explore the traditions, folklore, and spiritual meaning of this beautiful harvest festival. Together, we’ll pause, reflect on our personal journey, and honour all that has grown and flourished within our lives over the past year.
During the workshop, you will create your own beautiful Autumn Lantern, decorating it with seasonal treasures, dried flowers, herbs, and natural elements inspired by the harvest. As the evenings grow darker, your lantern will become a gentle reminder that even in times of change, there is always light, hope, and something to be grateful for.
We’ll also share in a heartfelt Gratitude Candle Ritual, offering thanks for the blessings already received while setting intentions for the season ahead. This simple yet meaningful ritual encourages balance, inner peace, and appreciation for life’s journey.
